The Classics.

Lost In A Dream by Ulf

Taking Shape.

It's been an intensive few days - ripping down and re-building the Cape Horn sim. The intention? To keep the best of the old but in general to refresh the place and to upgrade the build. There's still a lot to sort out, but over the next day or two the character will be layered in, then all it needs are the characters themselves to return! Still, the guys are returning, with Cub 4 Use, Magnus, and Tiger relaxing at The Spike last night.

Petr

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Petr Hastings Vanbeek, a very sexy looking guy fella with an equally sexy looking blog (or two). Hopefully I'm going to brush up against this salt n' pepper stud sometime soon, but in the mean time we can enjoy him over at Petr and Tasty's Big Adventure Blog, now in the side bar.

Caffeine Fix.

Can't start the day without a black coffee, and the new roof's not a bad place to take it. It's a civilized way to get started, read the paper and make a few notes to plan the main events and strategies for the day. Making a few improvements at Cape Horn is the next project. In fact it's well underway, but morning is where the sketching kicks in and the 'memo to self' is the only way to keep things on track.

Joe Blogs.

With thanks to iwasalmostanabortion blogspot.
A couple of weeks ago I think I mentioned the superb J/O photo book by Joe Oppedisano, well just incase you missed the link in the side bar, Joe's almost daily blog mixes glimpses of his uber horny photography with some powerful mood-shifting poetry. Well worth adding and following.

Day Two. Up On The Roof.

It's not Versailles - but its home. A lot of lifting, digging, planting... you name it. I got to admit, not my favourite way to work up a sweat.

Day One.

Man, that was a great nights sleep. High up and away from the ocean noise the move is already paying dividends - also - I guess building a place that feels right is very therapeutic too (if a bit expensive!).
After sorting out the furniture new arrivals from Post, I wasted no time and set to work on the roof garden - it's looking very Spring-like already. Hope to show you that tomorrow.

Home Sweet Home.

It's been a long time coming, but I finally decided on a home in Second Life. Nope, it's not a waterfront mansion with a five car garage, its more of a loft, and as a skybox, it is a very high loft indeed! But it's a building by Post, who must be creators of some of the most finely crafted buildings in all SL, and it's a real pleasure to inhabit. For a relatively small building its got a whole lot of character, and virtually everything you touch has an animation or pose feature - I'm still discovering everything on offer. Combined with a mix of Post's superb furniture (with a distinctly 20th Century vintage feel) it works well for a single guy like me who needs a place to relax and occasionally entertain friends. It's phase one of my environmental makeover, and maybe it represents a shift in attitude to the way I spend my time in SL. We'll see.

What Bears Do In The Woods.

Bears and woods. Great combination. Grrrrrrrrr!.

Hanging Out.

...well not quite literally, but if you're over at Cargo City you can cruise with a little more determination - strike a pose (by 'sitting' on the trash cans) and draw a crowd. Let me know how it goes.

A Poseidon Adventure.

Every now and again the tide washes in a rare jewel on the shores of Second Life and The Bullring - and non more so than the stunningly handsome ooOPoseidonOoo.
Barely a month old and detailed like a pro, with olive skin and a smile to launch a thousand ships he's a great addition to the SL gay fraternity. Shiver me timbers if I didn't get to test drive that beautiful muscle butt myself. I'm going to be waiting by the shoreline in the hope that the tide washes him up a second time. Here's to a bigger splash!
